This years host of the efsli event was the Estonian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (EVKTÜ).
The theme of the conference was "Sound Mind in Sound Hands".

The quality of interpreter’s performance depends importantly on the interpreter’s health and the mastery to maintain his/her energy for years. The conference sound mind in sound hands will focus on interpreter’s ability to work, influenced to the large extent by the physical and mental strain accompanying interpreting, communication in a different cultural environment, rapid change of various interpreting settings as well as the emotional state of the participants in the interpreting settings.
