How can you give your financial support to the EFSLI Special Attendance Fund?Individuals may wish to make personal donations – Donation Forms are available now – contact saf@efsli.org Or you can donate on line
- For example:
One person has donated the refund of expenses made for the interpreter association.
Associations may wish to consider making an annual donation to the fund.

One ssociation has made the commitment to donate an amount of money to the fund each year.
Fundraising Events – Associations can host special events in their own countries and as part of that raise money for the fund by asking for donations, running raffles, having an auction, entry fees to an exhibition of show, sponsored walks or activities or a whole host of different possibilities.
- For example:
A lecture was presented for free by a well known presenter within the interpreting community. The interpreter association asked for an entrance fee. The total has been donated to the fund. - At the annual general meeting of one interpreter association a presentation was provided on the EFSLI Special Attendance Fund. Following the presentation a special box was passed around to collect money for the fund. The association doubled the amount that was collected.
In most countries, fund contributions are tax deductible.
