efsli Trainers Directory - Policy

The European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (efsli) has developed a directory of experienced Interpreter Trainers from across Europe already accessible on the efsli website – www.efsli.org

The purpose of this database is to help any of our members to find an appropriate trainer for their training needs. This directory is a free and non-commercial service provided by efsli.

How can I be included in efsli Training Directory?

  • National Associations of Sign Language Interpreters (NASLI), members of efsli, are encouraged to collect the names and details of interpreter trainers that they would recommend to others. Written permission for submission is required.
  • Those who are not member of a NASLI and would like to send a private application are expected to provide at least three professional references that can comment on their training skills.
  • Trainers should indicate their geographical region, languages that they can present in as well as their areas of expertise.

Private contact addresses are not available online. So, if you would like to get in touch with any trainer listed in our Directory, in the first instance you can contact the efsli Training & Development Dept.

Although efsli takes great care in holding the directory, efsli can not be held accountable for the trainings provided by the listed trainers.

Directory update

Please, help us keep our Directory up-to-date and accurate by keeping us informed if any of the data submitted have changed.

Trainers names will be removed upon request or if we do not receive any confirmation message that your training is still active.

Our database will be updated once a year starting January 2008. All listed trainers will receive an email asking for a reconfirmation of their trainer status.

Should you need further information, please feel free to send us an email at training@efsli.org.

We will be happy to answer to all your questions.
